1.培养和提高全体会员对英语学习的兴趣。
2.促进学生英语交流，丰富协会各成员的校园文化生活。
3.使协会所有成员在活动的参与中增进英语知识，活动的策划中增进能力，活动的组织中增进交流，使英语协会的活动更加贴，近同学的生活与学习。
4.培养本协会成员的英语口语表达能力，思维敏捷度以及良好的交际能力，使之能够随时随地的说出一口流利的英语，并且能流利地与人交谈，营造良好的校园英语学习氛围，提高广大成员学习英语的激情，加强各成员之间的沟通交流。
二、活动对象：面向铜陵学院全体在校学生
三、活动前期准备：
1.前期策划部干事负责活动的策划及整理并提交策划书。
2.宣传部在社团内部及校内做好宣传工作，调动同学参与活动的积极性，鼓励大家积极踊跃报名。
3.宣传部在活动前两天将宣传版置于食堂,教室门口，及公告栏处进行海报宣传。
4.办公室通知全体会员参加活动,并告之活动内容及相关事宜。
5.做好前期准备工作，各部门相互协作，积极装扮多媒体教室。
四、活动流程：
1主持人宣布活动开始致开幕词，介绍到场嘉宾。
2开场秀热场
3外教首先自我介绍，由主持人问外教一些外国文化，英语学习或者其他方面的问题。
4参加活动人员可自由和外教交流，问其他自己感兴趣的问题。
5自由表演环节：乐器表演展示，小型合唱，街舞秀等。
6游戏环节：英文版心有灵犀，两人一组，每组选手一人描述题板上的歌曲名，另一人猜，三分钟，猜中多的组获胜，组员可获得奖励，每组有两次向外教求援的机会。
7外教现场教唱一首简单的英文歌，现场随机抽取若干同学分组进行演唱，有外教评选出优秀者，给予奖励。
8主持人宣布活动结束，所有工作人员和选手与外教合影。
9工作人员负责好后期工作。
五、奖励：
由外教做评委，主持人宣布结果，节目表演较好的同学有小礼品相赠。
六.经费预算:
100元
七、注意事项：
本次活动是以促进英语交流为目的，旨在提高大家英语水平，同时也给所有同学提供一个互相交流的平台希望大家能创造出一个积极向上的氛围，展示我们大学生英语协会的精神风貌!

学大学英语单词的方法
第一，当然是立下志向了，goal setting, 没有个目标，就谈不到努力，更不会有成功。无论方法多么奏效，没有兴趣，也不会成功。好在对于英语来说，大家还都是公认其重要性。这里要谈谈目标的smart原则:
s: specific 也就是说目标必须是特别的有针对性的
m: measurable 是说可以衡量的，可以量化的
a: achievable 很明显，切实可行的目标才有意义
r: 有人说是realistic, 另一个解释 rewardable， 这个词大约字典是查不到的，不过意思很简单。
t: timely 任何一个目标应该有个时间的限制，否则目标不成其为目标。
根据这个原则，你可以设定自己的目标, 例如，你的目标是背诵英文单词，每天一个半小时，150个新单词加上前一天所背单词的复习，每周末仅仅复习，若记忆率达到75%，你就奖励自己看一场电影....
第二，目标有了，接下来就是时间的安排和管理了，怎么抽出这个时间来，上下班，晚饭后，早餐前，或者mixed,给自己一段时间来调试，可以灵活改变，但不能放弃。对于学生来说，这个时间的安排应该容易得多。
第三，怎么背?建议是使用英英字典，或者单词手册，我最喜欢的.是按单词的词频表，词频表是语言学家通过分析大量的英文传媒，包括报纸，广播，电视等等，统计出一个单词的出现频率，然后一千一千的编织成表，这个方法比较科学，可以买了一本商务印刷馆出版的英文单词手册，非常好用。我们学习单词都是从低级到高级，从词频高的词表背到词频低的词表，可是英语环境下的儿童恰好相反，他们学习很多词频很低的单词，主要是植物和动物名词，儿童大都是从名词开始，因为这是他们认识世界的开始，我们成年人一学就要学习描述这个世界，所以我们要背很多动词和形容词，这个事我也没有办法。
学大学英语听力的建议
首先，对自己的词汇量做一个简单测试。根据测试结果选择适当的听力材料。如果词汇量不大，建议先选择课本的听力材料，如果达到4000以上的话，个人认为就可以在网上搜索一些听力材料，比如voa之类的。
其次、听力的提高是一个循序渐进的过程。如果一开始听对于自己太难的材料提高的效果会差很多。因此建议从慢速开始，逐步提升。提升的过程以3个月为最佳。
第三、在慢速听力的时候先不要急于过渡到常速。要把慢速听力材料先听懂，然后理解，直至最后能默写。(默写这个过程也可以扩大你的词汇量)然后才能进入下一个阶段，即常速听力的阶段。
学大学英语作文的技巧
积累一定的词汇量，任何一篇的英语作文都是通过单词堆积而成的，如果你的基础实在是很薄弱，那你就需要保证基础词汇的正确率，当你可以写出一篇完整的文章时，你可以用一些高级英语词汇替换低级英语词汇。
积累词组和语法，如果你这篇英语作文只是通过简单的英语词汇组成的话，那这篇英语作文将会是错漏百出的，所以大家必须掌握英语写作里面要求的基本语法和词组。
积累好的英文句型，如果大家想要我们的英语作文拿到高分那就必须使用一些高级句型，例如从句等，这个部分主要是靠大家平时的积累，大家可以准备一本本子，将平时的看到的好句子记起来，以后自己就可以用了。
参考经典模板，大家都知道英语文章有各种各样的形式，例如书信、叙事文、议论文等，如果我们盲目的都只写成一种形式的话，那就是大错特错了，这时候就体现出我们熟悉各式各样的英文作文模板的重要性了。
